Prepylon.ai ("Prepylon," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by AI School of India, provides the website and application at prepylon.ai (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using Prepylon, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name and email address, either directly or through Google Sign-In. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo as provided by Google.

Practice activity. We store the code you write and submit, which problems you've attempted or solved, your progress, streaks, accuracy, and related statistics.

AI feedback and hints. When you request AI-generated hints or feedback, your current code and the relevant problem context are sent to our AI service providers to generate a response. We do not use this data to train third-party AI models beyond what's necessary to generate your response.

Resume Analyzer. If you upload a resume, we process its contents to generate feedback. Uploaded resumes and the AI-generated feedback are stored on your account so you can review them later.

Voice interviews. If you use AI voice interview features, we may record and store audio and/or transcripts of your practice sessions to provide feedback and let you review past sessions.

Live classes and recordings (Academy batches). If you're enrolled in a batch (such as AI School of India), we store your batch/cohort membership, attendance in live sessions, and provide access to session recordings and materials shared by your trainer. Recordings are hosted through our video provider (Zoom) and access is controlled through your Prepylon account.

Usage data. We automatically collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, generally through server logs and, where applicable, cookies or local storage used to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.

Payment information (if applicable). If Prepylon introduces paid plans, payment details are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including grading your code, generating AI feedback, and tracking your progress
• Personalize your learning experience and recommendations
• Enable live classes, recordings, and materials access for enrolled batches
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests
• Monitor and improve the Service, including diagnosing technical issues
• Prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service

3. Third-party service providers

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate Prepylon, including:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and account storage
• AI model providers — to generate grading feedback, hints, and resume analysis
• A code execution sandbox provider — to safely run and grade submitted code
• Zoom — to host live classes and store recordings
• Cloud hosting and content delivery providers — to serve the application

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments, and only to the extent necessary to provide the Service.

4. Data retention

We retain your account information and activity data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

6. Children's privacy

Prepylon is intended for users aged 12 and above. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, anyone under the age of 18 is considered a child, and their enrollment and use of the Service must be arranged with the verifiable consent of a parent, legal guardian, or the enrolling school, coaching institute, or academy. We rely on the enrolling institution or parent/guardian to obtain this consent before a minor's account is created.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access controls that restrict who can read or modify your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and/or browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember certain preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect the Service's functionality.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
